Prince Street Cafe is selling two of its cafes
Denim Coffee, a Chambersburg roaster that opened its Lancaster shop on West King Street in 2024 (also Denim has the best iced caramel latte in the city if you’re asking this writer), is buying the Columbia and York locations of Prince Street Cafe for an undisclosed price. The sale closes September 16. The original Prince Street Cafe in Lancaster, open since 2006, is not part of the deal and stays with Commons Co., which also owns Passenger Coffee and Merrymaker Catering.
Both cafes close briefly for the switch. York goes dark about a week in mid-September and reopens as Denim Coffee in early October. Columbia closes in mid-October and reopens in early November. Co-owner Tony Diehl says changes will be minimal, with Denim's espresso lineup plus sandwiches, baked goods, smoothies and kombucha. Denim has nine locations now and started in 2011 as a Shippensburg roastery selling coffee at farmers markets.

8 million people just got a tour of a Lancaster warehouse
Alix Earle, the TikTok creator with more than 8 million followers, posted a video Sunday following her trip from New York to Jay Group, the West Hempfield logistics company at 700 Indian Springs Drive that handles fulfillment for her beauty brand Reale Actives. The video walks the warehouse floor, past shelves of product, and shows her signing boxes headed out to customers. Scott Chamberlain, Jay Group's senior director of sales and marketing, confirmed Reale Actives is a client and that the first order shipped from the building back in March.
She also mispronounced Lancaster. We have stopped correcting people.
