Two new shops in Lancaster County: Jersey Mike's opens in Centerville next week + Lititz Cheese Shop is now downtown
Jersey Mike's at Centerville Square (opens June 24): Jersey Mike's Subs debuts its fifth Lancaster County location next Wednesday at 584 Centerville Rd., Suite B, East Hempfield Township — the former Saladworks space at the Centerville Square shopping center, between Route 30 and Marietta Avenue and next to Five Guys. The 2,400-sq-ft store is run by Matt and Kristie Patterson, who already operate the Jersey Mike's franchises in Willow Street, Ephrata, East Lampeter Township, and Manheim Township. Founded in New Jersey in 1956, the chain now runs more than 3,000 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Lititz Cheese Shop (now open at 49 E. Main St.): Amy and Matt Tamulis have relocated and rebranded their two previous shops (Savory Gourmet and At My Table) into a single 2,500-sq-ft downtown Lititz storefront — the former Tiger's Eye boutique space, which closed in December. The new store carries cheeses, charcuterie, pastries, specialty food gifts, and entertaining supplies. They kept their old At My Table location at 55 E. Main, which will now host tastings, workshops, and community events instead of retail. Hours: 10 AM–4 PM Sun/Mon; 10 AM–5 PM Tue–Sat.

Iron Leg's Bionic Bowl is Saturday: full-contact charity football for kids who need prosthetics
The Bionic Bowl kicks off Saturday at 7 PM at Millersville University's Biemesderfer Stadium. It's a full-contact charity football game organized by the Iron Leg nonprofit, with two ~25-man rosters (the Iron-Legs in silver and black vs. a Lancaster Nissan-sponsored team) made up of weekend warriors aged 18 to 62 who have trained together since April. Iron Leg's president, Matt Millhouse, aims to raise $20,000 for Major Asay's medical care — an 11-year-old from Levittown who lost both legs, his right hand, and his left thumb — and Millhouse says this will likely be Iron Leg's final game. Players have torn ACLs from training, Millhouse himself tore his biceps in a past game, and they're showing up anyway. That's the spirit.
