A 90-year-old went skydiving over Lancaster County
For his 90th birthday, Wayne Burg wanted to jump out of an airplane. So on Saturday, he did. The Masonic Village resident rode a single-engine Cessna 12,000 feet above Maytown Sport Parachute Club in East Donegal Township, then jumped in tandem with instructor Tony Guiliano while more than a dozen fellow residents watched from below. Burg got the idea in 2014, when George H.W. Bush marked his own 90th with a parachute jump. "Sometimes when people reach a certain age, they think they're finished. But they're not finished," Burg said.
Same airfield, same day: Darlene Kellner of Lancaster, Ann Ross and Sandra Ramey of the group Skydivers Over Sixty became the first three women in Pennsylvania to link eight free-fall formations in one jump, a state record. Not a bad Saturday over Lancaster County.

We turned Lancaster into a jigsaw puzzle, and one of you is getting it
We've been sitting on this one for a while. We had a custom Lancaster, PA jigsaw puzzle made, and it took a lot of tinkering to get the art right. Lancaster Superstar Photographer Janelle Putrich captured this city beautifully.
There's exactly one way to get one, and it starts today. We're giving a puzzle away on our Instagram and Facebook. Find the giveaway post, make sure you're following, and every like earns you an entry. Every share earns a bonus entry.
